เผยโฉมผู้มีบารมีตัวจริง - Is Bhumibol behind it?

This interesting little video turned up here ThaiPresident and after some basic analysis comparing Thailand today, to "the dark days of may 1992" the author then comes to a very wise conclusion. Which is that the king of Thailand is somehow always there, silent, yet always there. The video further questions the accepted belief that King Bhumibol "knows nothing".

ThaiPresident's conclusion? "a weak democracy in Thailand = rich Chakri family". Oddly enough, Paul Handley reached a similar conclusion in his book The king Never Smiles. That's because somehow, after more than sixty years of military coups, it's hard to believe that Bhumibol "knows nothing", especially as he is the richest monarch in the world (Forbes Magazine, 2009).

And that's a fact: The king of Thailand is "always there", silent, in the shadows mostly, but after 60 years of political meddling on the part of Thailand's monarchy, there can be little doubt that king Bhumibol is "behind it!"
