This Girl Loves the King

I think this video is dedicated to Thailand's DSI. At least, that's what it says at the start of the video. It's from Diediechakri, who else? So let's see if we can answer his question: Why is the original "Kill Thaksin" video not banned in Thailand?

Isn't it obvious? The job of the Thai army, the police, PAD, etc, is to "protect the king" as he fills those huge pockets in his royal robe with billions of dollars of Thai people's money. Isn't that the truth? It's not for nothing that King Bhumibol is the richest monarch in the world (Forbes 2009).

Thai Women Threaten to "rape" Abhisit.

Obviously one of those Red shirt women up there in Chiang Mai. Poor Abhishit, the Red shirts want to kill him. Aaaah, Call a wambulance, quick. Abhisit needs the army to "protect" him from all those Thai women. He probably thinks they want to rape him. LOL.

Death Threats and Hypocrisy

Has everybody conveniently fogotten this death threat against Thaksin and all his family? Is this just a "joke", but not the death threat against Abhisit, right? What about the death threats against me for speaking out against lese majeste law?

People need to get a grip on this issue. Death threats are always wrong, but Abhisit is using this "death threat" as an excuse to use the brutal army against the Red Shirts. Anybody who can't see that is blind.

Supinya Klangnarong: Thai Netizens Network

Thai Netizens Network (TNN) recently asked Thai authorities to explain how they were technically able to gain access my e-mail, in order to read the messages which Nat Sattayapornpisut had sent me. TNN also requested details of the law which allows this type of communications interception to be used in Thailand.

Here's an interview with TNN's Supinya Klangnarong, in which she mentions many of the issues currently being discussed by Human Rights organisations, including Thailand's lese majeste law and Computer Crimes law. With regard to lese majeste law, Supinya makes some excellent points.

As Supinda rightly points out, there is no criteria for defining lese majeste. Which means that even a polite criticism, can lead to accusations of "defamation" against the Thai king or other members of the royal family, which is precisely what has been happening over the past few years.

The solution proposed by TNN is "open dialogue" about the issue of lese majeste law. But this too apparently, is lese majeste. No-one can criticise this law, or suggest any reforms to it, without "insulting" the monarch.

From that I think we can safely conclude, that when the Thai king invited Thai people to criticise him in 2005, he was in fact "insulting" himself and therefore liable to prosecution for lese majeste. Have you ever heard anything more ridiculous in your life?

I'm not going to gloat, because it's not about that. There are still many others in prison, who should not be there.

The fight against Thailand's Computer Crime's Law and lese majeste law, is about justice and the right to free speech. That's all.

"SITEL" - How did the DSI Read my E-mails?

I hope this video, which, I have uploaded to Youtube, here NatSattayapornpisut, will help in the fight to free Nat. Nowadays, it seems individuals have their civil rights taken away from them with impunity, in the name of "national security", but in reality most of these arrests are politically motivated.

Currently the issue of SITEL is hot on the news stands in Spain, with both main political parties discussing the "legality" of this system of communications interception. It was probably the SITEL system, or something similar, which either Thai police or Spanish police used to gain access to my e-mail account and read my mail.

If you have a Youtube channel, or a blog of your own, please feel free to upload this video because you'll be helping Nat by doing so. Meanwhile, the Thai Netizens Network are seeking answers from Thai authorities relating to the way in which the DSI gained access to my e-mails. Let's hope they get answers to their questions.

I think it's important that we continue to talk about this issue, if we are to maintain our right to privacy and free speech. Thank you for all your support.

DSI Admit Nat didn't Send the Videos

The organisation Thai Netizen Network have made a formal request for clarification, regarding the arrest of Nat sattayapornpisut and others arrested recently under Thailand's Computer Crime Law. You can read their requests here:

Interesting points here: The DSI no longer claim that Nat sent me the videos via e-mail, as it was first reported in the press. Now apparently, Nat "e-mailed links to the 3 offensive clips". This is important because there's a big difference between sending videos and e-mailing links to those videos.

The most interesting part of Thai Netizen Network's request however, is their request for clarification into the way the DSI gained access to my mail, and whether this was "an abuse of power or misuse of the Computer Crime Law".

The DSI still haven't got their facts right. There were only two videos originally, not three. I myself edited these two videos into three separate videos. If necessary, and just to prove my point, I'm prepared to make these links public, in the same way that I made the messages from Nat public, to demonstrate that he had not sent me the videos via e-mail.

Abhisit the Bullshit Merchant

Some people deal in stocks and shares, others like Thailand's illegitimate Prime Minister, Abhisit Vejjajiva, deal in bullshit. He's made a political career on the stuff, always looking for that photo opportunity with someone famous or influencial, in the vain hope that it will add legitimacy to his sadly disunited government.

Abhisit has had to wait a whole ten years for his chance to rule over his Thai subjects, during which time nobody has ever voted for him, not even when he became "Prime Minister". A bit of political arse licking et voilá, Abhisit made it to the very top of the ape tree.

Abhisit is the ideal Prime Minister for Thailand, not only is he an empty suit, but the Thai king chose him. Ideal, in fact. The army too, love this stuck up Eton "educated" English toff. That's because he's a puppet, with no ideas of his own and little or no credibility as a leader.

So the question on everyone's lips is, when will Adhisit finally quit talking shit and call an election? Answer: When he's sure he can win. In other words, never. Oh, sure, recently he was pontificating about the possibilty of holding general elections, but it was only more of the usual political bullshit.

It's not that Abhisit and his cockroach party don't have "good" ideas (they recently proposed increasing the penalty for lese majeste from 15 years to 25 years) it's just that elections don't always produce the "right" results. Anyway, in Abhisit's Thailand, legitimacy doesn't come from a mandate from the people.

No, Abhisit is the product of old style Thai politics. His premiership is the result of the traditional wheeling and dealing, the army re-shuffles (it's my turn to mount a coup!), and those "desperado" attempts to catch the Thai king's eye. Democracy? Don't be silly.

But things are changing in Thailand. Abhisit's arch rival, Thaksin Shinawatra, is now just across the Thai border. Closer than ever to his red shirt supporters. Despite all the propaganda, it's clear that many Thai people would gladly vote for Thaksin in a general election and welcome him back as Thailand's only legitimate Prime Minister.

For Thailand's royalist elite, Thaksin's triumphant return to political power is a nightmare scenario, but as more Thai people learn the sordid truth about their leaders, the possibly of democratic change in Thailand edges closer with each day that passes.

Abhisit's days as the Thai army's puppet are numbered. Not even the stock market now believes the bullshit merchants running the government. Which is why at the slightest rumour about the Thai king's health, shares plunge. What Thailand needs is change. It's time for Abhishit to either call an election, or pack his bags and piss off back to Newcastle.

I'd like to think that some of those who watch this video appeal, will feel strongly enough to write to the various Human Rights organisations mentioned at the end of the video.

Oh, Nat. I'm crying like a child looking at your photograph.

I can't hold back the tears.

Yes, the photograph you can see above is that of Nat Sattayapornpisut, only that's not how you spell his name. The DSI deliberately mispelt his name in the press release, so that no-one would find Nat's Facebook, Myspace or Youtube channel which has been "suspended".

But after 3 weeks of searching, I have finally found the information. Nat's surname is spelt "Nattayapornphisut", and yes, behind that name there's a human being whose interests include "meditating" and listening to Michael Jackson records.

I want to tell the world that Nat has been held in custody by the DSI, for much longer than the 12 days granted by the courts, and as yet, nothing has been reported in the Thai media. He has been subjected to lie detector tests, in an effort to make him confess his "crime".

But everything that has been reported in the media about Nat's case is false. Nat did not send me those videos, He wrote and told me about the links which had appeared in Samesky webboard. I myself downloaded the videos from Spain. The messages Nat sent me, can be seen elsewhere in this blog.

Please Help Nat prove his innocence.

Thai Stock Market Crash

The Thai stock market crash in mid October continues to rumble on, with four or five more arrests likely according to Reuters. The two people charged so far, have been accused of "spreading false rumours" about the Thai king's health - for money! Those behind this accusation are neurotic, it's clear.

But surely, before we can judge for ourselves if these rumours are "false", shouldn't we be told what these two people said? And what exactly is "the truth" about the Thai king's health? It seems no-one can say "the truth" because then the stock market will crash, but everything that is not "the truth", is a "false rumour". This logic is crass.

Sorry, but all that nonsense about Bhumibol having a "slight fever" doesn't wash any more. It's been two whole months now. It's obvious the King is ill. Very ill. And yes, he's going to die, sooner or later. Do stock market traders actually think the Thai king will live forever? Of course he won't. In the same way that shares go up and don't, people are born and then they kick the bucket.

Oh, man! These traders are simpletons. No wonder the economy is "in crisis".

Don't Take Your Eye off the Ball!

Thailand and Cambodia are now on collision course over the appointment of Thaksin as Cambodia's "economic advisor". And, just as Harry Nicolaides was the "spoiler" to attract attention away from the conflict in Thailand between red shirts and yellow shirts, this time too, the Thai government needs a "spoiler". So who could that person be?

There are rumours circulating that Thai police have now issued an arrest warrant against me, but as yet I have heard nothing offficially. But then, neither had Harry Nicolaides before his sudden arrest at Bangkok airport. Harry's arrest warrant was issued in secret (just like mine) months before his arrest.

My guess is that these rumours are true. The Thai "government" will wait until it is politically opportune before asking Spanish police to arrest me. This move will allow the non-elected Thai regime to buy time, as the western media gaze at their navel pondering over the issue of "free speech" versus "cultural sensitivity".

The British government meanwhile, will let the Spanish authorities stew in their own juice, as the international press huff and puff about how the Spanish government has arrested a British blogger. Conveniently forgeting that the British government too has interfered in Thailand, first by revoking Thaksin's visa, then by sending British-born Abhisit to steal his job.

The Generals in Bangkok are no fools. Did anybody notice how King Bhumibol's youngest daughter, Princess Chulabhorn arrived in Spain to stay at the private residence of Spain's Prince Felipe, at the very same time that my e-mail account was being hacked into by the DSI in order to arrest my Thai friend Nat Sattayapornpisut? Coincidence?

This is the stuff that scandals are made of. No doubt these pre-prepared "facts" will be leaked out at the right moment so that eager "conspiracy" journalist take the bait, and write about how Prince Felipe, who recently used Spain's lese majeste law to sue a Spanish satirical magazine called Jueves, could somehow have been "involved in Nat Sattayapornpisut's arrest". I can see the headline in The Times now: "Did the Spanish Crown Prince give police the order to hack his mail". Bah! Humbug!

But Thailand's brilliant plan is not going to work. Not this time. Because now everybody knows the truth. So instead of dancing to Thailand's tune, I suggest the media concentrate on the issue of how the Thai government was able to gain access to my e-mail account and whether these methods were legal or not.

I would also ask the international press, to write about the circumstances surrounding the arrests of my Thai friends Suwicha Thakhor and Nat Sattayapornpisut, and of course Da Torpedo. These are the headlines the Thai government doesn't want people to read. But this is precisely the reason why I will be arrested soon.

Have Thai police issued an arrest warrant against me?

The plot thickens! This letter to Blogger asking them to close my blog, has appeared here. What's interesting about the letter is that it states that an "arrest warrant" has been issued against me.

I can tell you that to date, I have not been officially notified of this by Spanish police.

Thaksin's "Shining" New Age

All right! Who made this video? I'm trying to "retire" and you people keep making these stupid videos. This one turned up here Sia4plaboy, and I'm sure it will add even more fuel to the fire. It all relates to an article which appeared in The Times newspaper, which apparently has now been blocked in Thailand.

I read this article as it popped up in Interceder, and I have to say it surprised me quite a bit. The idea that Red shirts would happily accept Sia O as their king is bizarre, to say the least. But who I'm I to comment, I've retired now anyway.

Thaksin now says that he was misquoted by The Times, it doesn't surprise me, low quality tabloids always misquote people. Remember to cast your vote in the poll. Bye!

ในครานี้ ฝ่ายรัฐ กลับตอกย้ำปมปัญหา โดยการคุกคามสิทธิเสรีภาพอีกครั้ง และเป็นการจับแพะได้อย่างน่าละอายยิ่ง วิญญูชนล้วนตระหนักดี และเล็งเห็นได้ว่าจะมีการ "หาเรื่อง" และ "จับแพะ" เพิ่มเติม การจงใจสะเพร่าเช่นนี้ จะอ้างว่า ให้พิสูจน์ในชั้นศาล ไม่อาจฟังขึ้น เพราะเป็นการใช้อำนาจตามอำเภอใจ อยากจับใครก็ได้ ให้พิสูจน์ในชั้นศาลเอาเอง ซึ่งขัดต่อหลักสาระสำคัญแห่งสิทธิเสรีภาพในรัฐประชาธิปไตย และการบังคับใช้กฎหมายอย่างบิดเบือน อันบั่นทอนหลักนิติรัฐ เรื่องเหล่านี้ในนามชุมชนเว็บบอร์ดฟ้าเดียวกัน ไม่อาจยอมรับได้ และขอเรียกร้องดังนี้

๑.แม้จะเป็นการเริ่มต้นดำเนินคดี อย่างมิชอบ แต่เมื่อเจ้าหน้าที่รัฐ ได้ดำเนินคดีแล้ว ก็ต้องเคารพระเบียบกระบวนการทางกฎหมาย โดยหลักการประชาธิปไตยในโลกสากล ตามปฏิญญาสากลว่าด้วยสิทธิมนุษยชนของสหประชาชาติ และรัฐธรรมนูญทุกฉบับของราชอาณาจักรไทย ได้เคารพในหลักการว่าผู้ถูกกล่าวหาคือผู้บริสุทธิ์ จนกว่าจะถูกพิสูจน์โดยกระบวนการอันชอบด้วยกฎหมายว่ากระทำความผิด โดยกระบวนการพิสูจน์ตามกฎหมายนั้น จะต้องกระทำโดยเปิดเผยและให้โอกาสต่อสู้คดีได้อย่างเต็มที่

ด้วยเหตุผลดังกล่าว ในขณะนี้ ผู้ใช้อินเตอร์เน็ททั้งสามท่านที่ถูกดำเนินคดี จะต้องถือว่าเป็นผู้บริสุทธิ์ และ ขอเรียกร้องให้เจ้าหน้าที่ตำรวจตลอดจนเจ้าพนักงานในกระบวนยุติธรรมทางอาญา ทั้งหลายที่เกี่ยวข้อง ต้องดำเนินคดีต่อผู้ถูกกล่าวหาทั้งสามท่าน อย่างเปิดเผยและเป็นไปตามปฏิญญาสากลของสหประชาชาติ รัฐธรรมนูญ และกฎหมายด้วย

๒.พระราชบัญญัติความผิดเกี่ยวกับคอมพิวเตอร์ ที่ถูกบังคับใช้ในครั้งนี้ ทำหน้าที่เสมือนส่วนขยายของ กฎหมายอาญาฐานหมิ่นประมาทพระมหากษัตริย์ ตามประมวลกฎหมายอาญา มาตรา ๑๑๒ ซึ่งขัดต่อปฏิญญาสากลว่าด้วยสิทธิมนุษยชน มาตรา ๒ โดยชัดแจ้ง ในทางหนึ่ง แม้แต่องค์พระมหากษัตริย์รัชกาลปัจจุบันเอง ยังเคยมีพระราชดำรัสว่า กฎหมายดังกล่าวสร้างความเสื่อมเสียให้กับสถาบันกษัตริย์

๕.การใช้อำนาจคุกคามสิทธิเสรีภาพทางความเห็น ไม่ว่าจะอาศัยอำนาจโดยในหรือนอกกฎหมาย ต้องไม่เกิดขึ้นอีก

สุดท้ายนี้เราอาจกล่าวต่อท่านว่า แม้ท่านอาจจะปิดกั้นเสรีภาพในการแสดงเจตนาเพียงใด แต่สิทธิอันท่านไม่อาจก้าวล่วง และไม่อาจหาเครื่องมือในการปิดกั้นหรือบังคับได้เลย คือ "สิทธิในการคิด ในความศรัทธา ในความรัก ในความเกลียดชัง" อันเป็นสิทธิสัมบูรณ์โดยแท้ที่ไม่มีผู้ใดเคยสามารถที่จะจำกัดบังคับได้

The Thai king Sucks!

On the day of his coronation, 9th June 1946, the same day that his elder brother was "mysteriously" murdered while he slept in his bed, the young king of Thailand swore that he would reign with "righteousness" over his people.

If we use this statement as a yardstick to measure how "successful" king Bhumibol's 60 year reign has been, and not the usual "economic" yardstick applied by the markets, then we can definately say that the King of Thailand has failed as a king.

Not so long ago, king Bhumibol announced at the start of the DSI's terror campaign against those convicted of lese majeste, that he welcomed criticism. How "righteous" of the king, I hear you say, is this not what he promised at the start of his reign?

Today, Thai prisons are bursting with those convicted of lese majeste. Apologists for the Thai king say that king Bhumibol is "not responsible" for this, and that it's the fault of zealous royalists, but I beg to differ. Look at the fatcs.

The king himself invited criticism. He said it would help him to "learn from his mistakes".Yet, when any individual follows his advice (and is charged, humiliated and sent to prison) the Thai king stays perfectly silent, until his detractors have been punished.

Is this what the Thai king meant by "righteousness"? In legal terminology, those who encourage others to break the law, in the same way that king bhumibol has encouraged his people to break lese majeste law, are called agent provocateurs. And that is precisely what king Bhumibol has became for not giving his support to those who are arrested.

The king of Thailand may have done wonders for the Thai stock market over the last 60 years, but he has failed miserably as a king, because he did not keep his coronation vows. Granting a royal pardons after punishment is not "righteous" but rather "self-righteous".

The King said he wanted to be criticised, yet whenever someone is arrested for criticising him, King Bhumibol refuses to help until that individual is punished with prison.

In the case of Thais, king Bhumibol does not grant a royal pardon. Is this how the Thai king rewards those who follow his advice? Bhumibol you're a FAKE!

If this is my last entry, I'd like to say a big thank you to all of you for your support. We've won the arguments, that's why they want to lock us away. Thank you Suwicha thank you Nat. Thank you for your letters of support. The fight will continue, whatever happens to me.

Regent or Rama?

The question of what will happen in Thailand once Bhumibol inc pulls down the shutters for the last time, is a "sensitive" issue in Thailand. So sensitive in fact, that it's actually illegal to even discuss it in public. So let's discuss it here instead. There are three factors which most Thai people think will stop the royal succession from going smoothly:

First, there's the "rumour" that General Prem (King Bhumibol's personal friend according to the BBC) and $irikit will try to block the Thai Crown Prince from becoming king, by joining forces and forming a "regent". This would act as a caretaker monarchy until Prince Dipangkorn Rasmijoti comes of age. This would cause divisions in Thai society, and would make the succession problematic.

Then there's the other "rumour" that Prince Vajiralongkorn has AIDS, hence the regular visits to a German clinic. So even if he becomes king, it's unlikely that he would live long. Just how true these rumours are, is difficult to tell, baring in mind that Thailand's lese majeste law makes it impossible to discuss this openly.

Finally, there's "The Prophecy" (echo effect). No it's not a horror film, it's a prediction that there will never be a Rama X. King Bhumibol is the 9th Rama, so according to my Casio calculator , the Thai crown prince would be the 10th. But not if "The Prophecy" (echo effect) has anything to do with it.

Then of course, there's lese majeste law. A large minority of Thai people hate their Crown Prince, so it's likely that many would criticise him over rumours about his private life. Like the video from DieDieChakri states, things are likely to heat up in Thailand when the Thai king finally dies.
