Peak Moment 1/2

Some historians think that Bhumibol Adulyadej shot his brother "by accident". Others think it was "suicide". Both highly unlikely as Ananda Mahidol was sleeping in his bed when he was killed, and just how easy is it for a Colt 45 to go off by accident anyway? Then there are those who think that Bhumibol Adulyadej had nothing to do with his brother's brutal murder.

But Bhumibol was there, in the palace. He had a large arsenal of guns in his room (just across from Ananda's room). Bhumibol was also the last person to see his brother alive, and he had a motive: to be king of Thailand. These are facts that nobody can dispute.

Perhaps there's another explanation to Ananda Mahidol's murder. Could his brother, Bhumibol Adulyadej, have been the killer? Could Bhumibol have shot his brother at 9.00pm (with a silencer) then run back to his room (wait 15 minutes) then fire a second shot?

Why not? Thai police didn't inspect Bhumibol's guns to see if they had been fired, and concentrated instead on the Cold 45 found in Anada's limp hand. Unfortunately, we will probably never discover the whole truth. At least not while lese majeste law exists in Thailand. Good video from StopLeseMajeste.
