Who is Abhisit Vejjajiva? Apart from being Britain's latest Viceroy to Thailand, that is. Well, he is an opportunist, a man who occupies the post of Prime Minister of Thailand, without having ever won an election. Is it any wonder then, that Thai people call him "The cockroach"?
Yet, back "home" in Britain, where Abhisit was born and educated (at Oxford university, no less) Mr Cockroach is presented to the British public as a "democrat" a "hero" even, sent to Thailand by Her Majesty to put the natives in their place.
That's how it's always been. Thailand has always been a colony of foreign powers. Their king (Bhumibol Adulyadej) is a yank (the one before that was a nazi kraut), their Prime Minister is a stuck up English toff. And so on...
Thailand's elite, mostly foreign educated "half Thais", rule over their land flaulting their white genes, while paying lip service to democracy and human rights with half truths. Abhisit Vejjajiva, don't you think it's time you called an election? Or are you afraid of being sent back to Newcastle to live above the Fish 'n' Chip shop again? Prat.
