Bhumibol Adulyadej - "Father of the Nation"?

Brainwashing in Thailand begins at an early age. Children are taught to "worship" the Thai king as their own "father". Thailand's constitution states that Bhumibol Adulyadej must be held in "revered worship".

Infact, Bhumibol Adulyadej, is neither divine nor Thai. He is an American born citizen, the son a Chinese commoner, whose nick name was "Lek" and who inherited the Thai throne when his German born brother was assassinated in mysterious circumstances.

But try saying any of that in Thailand, where strict lese majeste laws protect "Lek" from criticism with prison sentences of up to 15 years, and see what happens to you. Good video from stoplesemajeste.
