Who poisoned King Bhumibol?

Thailand's Royal Household Bureau has been more than economical with the truth regarding king Bhumibol's illness over the last two weeks, limiting itself to describing the "symptoms" of the Thai king's illness rather than talking about the illness itself.

So what exactly is "wrong" with the Thai king? The real diagnosis is that King Bhumipol has a "Lacunar infarct" which is a small aterial occlusion in the brain. The Royal Palace has tried to mislead Thai people by giving scant details about king Bhumibol's brain condition.

King Bhumibol's illness makes it difficult for him to swallow well because the muscles used for swallowing are weaknened leading asprirate pneumonia. Bhumipol has a fever because the food he ingests is breathed into his lungs.

The Thai king also suffers from a decrease in motor power in his leg and arm. Doctors must now do rehab to increase the king's motor function in these areas. The royal Household Bureau meanwhile, limits itself to describing the improvement in the "routine symptoms" of the king's illness, such as an improvement in his sleep or the reduction of his fever as his lung symptoms improve.

So why the lack of information on the part of the royal palace about king Bhumibol's medical condition? Why does the Royal Household bureau only talk about the improvement in the Thai king's symptoms without mentioning the king's illness?

One of the most serious symptoms of a lacunar infarct is that the patient experiences a change in behaviour, a mental dysfunction, leading to disorieatation and confusion. This metal dysfunction gradually becomes worse with each day that passes.

Another consequence of this illness, is that King Bhumibol is in danger of having a repeat stroke. His first stroke occured in Oct 2007 and the damage is now irreversible. King Bhumibol's condition is both painful and long, which is why the Royal Palace has censored news items relating to the Thai king's illness.

Another worrying aspect of King Bhumibol's illness, is the rumour of the discovery of traces of Chronic poison in the Thai king's blood. This is a "trigger factor" which leads to repeat stroke. If the information is true, it raises the question: who poisoned the thai king? Wild rumours abound that those responsible for administering the poison, are trying to become "regent" because they do not trust the Thai Crown Prince.

Will things change in Thailand when the King dies?

It's been a whole two weeks since Bhumibol Adulyadej was admitted to Bangkok's Siriraj Hospital, and despite almost daily reports from the Royal Palace claiming that the king is "responding well to treatment", many Thais are anxious for things to change in thailand.

The question asked by today's edition of The Independent newspaper is: will things really change once the Thai king is dead? Many believe a new democratic era will begin in Thailand once the king has died. This is because, despite claims by royalists that king Bhumibol is "above politics", the Thai king is seen by many thais as having blocked democratic change in thailand.

Certainly, one of the principal questions is, will Thailand's former prime minister, Thaksin Shinawatra, return to Thailand upon the thai king's death? Many Thaksin supporters believe he will, because the king's death would remove the main obstacle blocking Mr Thaksin's return to Thailand.

Srirasmi: From Cheap Cover Girl to Thai Princess

The magazine above is called Penpak, it's a cheap wank rag really, well what do you expect for 35 baht? But not so long ago, before Srirasmi married Sia O, she was the star of Penpak magazine. Here she is on the front cover flashing her large melons.

Nobody can blame Srirasmi for trying to earn a "decent" living, but when she became rich and famous, she wanted to put her past behind her. She even abandoned her loyal friends who had stood by her in difficult times. Srirasmi is now rich and soon she will be the Queen of Thailand, right?

But, how did Srirasmi become so rich? How did she manage to break with her sordid past and become a Thai "princess"? By marrying the Thai Crown Prince, Maha Vajiralongkorn, of course. There was just one obstacle, when Penpak Srirasmi met the Prince, he was already married to Yuwathida (with whom he had 5 children). But with a great pair of melons like that, anything is possible!

Srirasmi moved into the royal palace, supposedly as Sia O's "servant". The arguments between Sia O and Yuwathida started. Life in the palace became impossible for Yuwathida. It seemed likely that the married couple would break up. Everything was going to plan. They say a pair of tits can pull stronger than two horses. It's true.

Srirasmi bitched about Yuwathida to Sai O behind her back. Finally, the marriage broke up. Victory! Srirasmi's diligence had paid off. Yuwathida's marriage was destroyed. Soon Srirasmi would marry the Thai Crown Prince and become the richest Cover Girl in Thailand!

But there remained one small problem. How to stop Thai tongues wagging? Once her marriage to Sia O became public knowledge, srirasmi's past would come under the spotlight and she would be exposed. The solution? Create the "Saiyairak Project"

Now Srirasmi runs the "Saiyairak Project" working with families with relationship problems. Srirasmi "helps" these families to "bond" and encourages everyone in the family to "love" each other. Of course, Srirasmi is a perfect example of "family love". Who better to create a "family bond" than Srirasmi? Right? Never mind that she herself destroyed a family for money and power.

"Princess" Srirasmi probably thinks her past in now firmly behind her, and that Thai people are ignorant about her humble, low class origins. The poor Thai girl who studied at Bangkok Business Comerce, now thinks she is better than everyone else because she tricked Sia O into divorcing Yuwathida and marrying her instead.

How wrong she is.

The Sirikit Effect: Princess Soamsavali's Nightmare Marriage to Sia O

It's often said that you don't marry another person, you marry their family! In Princess Soamsavali's case, it was even more tragic: She was family!! To make matters worse, Queen Sirikit was the mother in law from hell. A recipe for disaster.

The year is 1977, a young beautiful Thai girl by the name of Soamsavali, decides to give up her studies, and marry the biggest loser in the world: Maha Vajiralongkorn. He was madly in love of course, but with another woman!

Needless to say, Sia O didn't want to marry Soamsavali, he wanted to marry the woman he really loved: Yuwathida. Enter the creature from the lagoon again, Queen Sirikit. Boooo!

The blue whale had big plans for her dopey son. She knew that marrying into the dysfunctional Chakri family, would be too much for any outsider, so she came up with the perfect solution: Sia O should marry his own cousin (Soamsavali's father is Queen Sirikit's brother).

And why not? King bhumibol is husband and cousin to Queen Sirikit, so if it's good enough for Sirikit, it's good enough for Soamsavali, right? The wedding was beautiful, Sirikit was in her element and enjoyed every minute of it. Pity she destroyed Soamsavali's life. Still, the wedding was lovely.

Soon after the wedding, Sia O quickly abandoned the bed for the table, then the table for the bar. He met up with Yuwathida from the very first month of his marriage. Indeed, it's no coincidence that Soamsavali's daughter with Sia O ( Ong-pa ) was born on 7 Dec 1978, and, surprise, surprise, Sia O's first son with Yuwathida ( Prince Juthawachara ) was born on Aug 1979 . Don't you think that's interesting? Did Sia O betray his wife?

The scandal soon started to draw the attention of those around the "happy" couple. Sia O would flirt openly with Yuwathida, even in public places. The shame of it! But Sia O's long suffering wife Soamsavali, didn't want a divorce, even though sia O clearly did.

Enter the mother in law from hell again. Sirikit's solution to the problem was simple. She decided to pay Soamsavali several hundred million baht to persuade her that divorce was the best option. To add insult to injury, Sia O declared that his decision to marry Soamsavali was "wrong" because he didn't love her. It was no picnic for her either!

All this suffering, pain and humiliation was caused by Queen Sirikit's selfish attitude. She wanted to decide for her son who he should marry with disastrous results. So much for Sirikit's attempt to "keep it in the family". Queen sirikit meddling almost destroyed Soamsavali's life. That's the Sirikit effect folks.
