As if more proof were needed....

Three years after the military coup which saw the democratic government in Thailand pushed from power by the Thai army, I accidentaly came across this video on Youtube, here: ibilly99. And before you say it, no it's not a joke!

You're probably thinking that it was made by someone trying to commit lese majeste by "insulting" the Thai king, after all, the video makes a clear link between the military coup and the Thai king, but the person who uploaded it described it as a "homage to the coup". Perhaps the farang man in the car simply "misunderstood" what his Thai girlfriend had said.

Or maybe not. If you still want more proof that the Thai king was behind the 2006 coup, the title of the video is: "Coup Tanks Bangkok Thailand 2006 Long Live the King". No, I'm not joking, visit the channel and see for yourself. The music you can hear in the background as the army tanks thunder by, is the Thai national anthem.

The ending of the video is the biggest give away though. Who do you suppose that gentleman who appears in the final shot, as the screen turns "royal yellow" is? Yep! "The one" behind the coup: King Bhumibol Adulyadej. Do you still doubt that Da Torpedo was telling the truth? After watching this video, I am convinced that Thai people know the real truth.

All Thais are equal (but some are more equal than others)

Remember the book "Animal Farm"? The place where all the animals were equal, except for those who made all the decisions (the pigs). They were just that little bit more equal. Thailand too, has a similar problem, as this video from ThaiPresident reveals.

You see, Thailand's highest law (the Constitution) is in conflict with itself. While it states that every Thai is "equal" under the law, and that their "dignity" and rights shall be protected, the Thai king, Bhumibol Adulyadej, is just that little bit more equal than other Thais.

Section 25 of Thailand's Constitution is especially interesting. It states that any Thai whose liberties and rights are violated, can "invoke the provisions of the Constitution to defend themselves in court". Tell that to Da Torpedo (whose trial was held in secret, violating her constitutional "rights") or Suwicha Thakhor who was recently sentenced to 10 years in prison for criticising the Thai king.

You see, while Thais have their rights guaranteed under the Constitution, these same rights are "violated" when they are accused of "violating" the Thai king. That's what Thailand's Constitution states: "The king shall not be violated". "No person shall accuse the king to any sort of accusation".

Thais who criticise their king, automatically lose their Constitutional right to "dignity, liberty and equality". So I ask you, does that sound fair to you?

Second Abhisit Audio Tape Appears on the Net!!!

Would you believe it! Another audio tape of Thailand's Prime Minister, Abhisit Vejjajiva, has appeared on the internet! Here Srirasmiubitch. OMG! I think this one is NOT fake! I've been doing some basic voice analysis to see if it really is Abhisit's camp voice, and there's no doubt about it - THIS TAPE IS REAL!!!

Hold on to your hats folks, this audio tape is even hotter than the first! Listen to Abhisit as he tells poor Thai people to "piss off" and then calls for Red shirts to "be killed". Wow! This tape is a danger to Thailand's national security for sure!

Who could have posted this video on Youtube? Maybe it was Thaksin's sister again? Or perhaps this time it was his aunt? Right! That's it! Call out the troops! This has got to stop! Now! How dare they mock the Thai king!

Abhisit's Fake Riot Audio Tape

Youtube is crammed full of doctored audio tapes of George Bush threatening to "bring destruction" to the world, yawn! Now it seems, a similar audio tape of Thailand's toffee nosed Prime Minister, Abhisit Vejjajiva, has appeared on the net.

Here it is. You'll find this video in Srirasmiubitch. So if you've got nothing better to do than to waste 3 minutes of your life listening to this crap, you know what to do. I suggest you re-arrange your living room chairs instead. Or how about re-arranging your fruit bowl? What fun!

Anyway, the point of all this is that Abhisit is tripping over himself, huffing and puffing, and threatening to take "legal action" against those who produced the audio tape. Now apparently, it's a "crime" under Thailand's Computer Crime Law to spread this tape on the internet!

But hang on! Wasn't this law introduced to "protect" the Thai king? Is Abhisit the Thai king now? See? I told you so! These laws are not there to protect the king, they are there to be abused by the Thai government and Thai army to stop political dissent.

After all, the audio tape is clearly fake, just like those Youtube tapes of George Bush, and you don't see him threatening to take legal action. Somebody should remaind Oxford-educated Abhisit that in a democracy such "dirty tricks"( as he calls them) are part and parcel of normal democratic life. It's called political satire, Abhisit.

Da King and I

Something tells me "Da Torpedo" (Daranee Chanchoengsilpakul) is not going to give up her fight after the court's decision. It's Da's turn now to be "the thorn" in the side of the "institution". News of her trial hit the headlines across the world, and has become a cause célèbre. The Thai government's attempt to keep her trial secret has backfired, and the whole world is now talking about this gritty little woman.

Compare Da Torpedo's courage with the cowardice shown by the Thai king. Bhumibol Adulyadej now runs away from Thailand's problems, keeping a low profile in some far away luxurious palace, where he can easily shirk his responsibilities to his people.

Thais across the nation are now beginning to realise that their king no longer cares what happens to them, as was demonstrated by this case. As one Thai individual wrote to me and said recently: "All that bad men need to succeed is for good men to remain quiet".

In her rally speech Duranee said that the thai king would either have to adapt and rule in Thailand like the monarchs of Japan and England do, or perish like the monarchs of France or Nepal did. The Thai king seems to have made his choice.

Lese Majeste law is not a substitute for Personal Morality

People can do what they like. We're living in the 21st century, after all. However, the price we have to pay for doing our own thing, is often paid in the form of criticism from others. Thai people understand that as well as any other nation. Yet, there is an elite group of Thais called the royal family, who think that these rules of conduct do not apply to them.

The Thai royal family have the same temptations and desires as the rest of us. But they are not like the rest of us, or so we are told: they are "royal". That means that they have a "duty" to perform, which includes maintaining the good reputation of the very institution they represent.

That "duty" includes setting personal limits to their moral conduct, with regards to social and sexual behaviour. But the Thai royal family don't seem to understand that, as winessed by the behavious of the Crown Prince and several Thai princesses.

In Thailand there is a law called lese majeste law, which seems to have become a sustitute for personal moral limits. The Thai royal family, appear to think that they can act as they please, whip it in, whip it out, wipe it, then whip out this law to impose silence on their Thai subjects, all in one clever move.

The point I'm making is that people need to distinguish between "protecting" the Thai king and his family from unwarranted malicious gossip, and "covering" for him and his family when they have done something which is morally wrong, unlawful, or brings disrepute and shame to the institution.

Today's conviction of Da Torpedo, is one example of the latter use of this law. It is a flagrant abuse of lese majeste law, as Da Torpedo was simply making the point that without the Thai king's approval, there would not have been 15 military coups in Thailand. The Thai king shouldn't be "protected" from such opinions, he should be made to face them.

Then there are the soft porn videos of members of the Thai royal family which have been appearing on the net recently, and which I have posted in this blog. Below you'll find yet another example. So I ask you, if the women in these photographs really are members of the Thai royal family, why should they be "protected" from criticism? Nobody forced then to remove their clothes and raise their legs.

Forget the argument that these photographs are "private". There not. You've just seen them, as you have every right to. Nothing an individual in a privileged social position does is "private", that's why they get paid so much. Just as in Europe, the Thai royal family must be answerable for their actions, and not hide behind lese majeste law all the time.

Now that you've watched the video, you're curious to know who these women are. Right? Well I'll tell you. The first couple of photographs are of the talented actress who was "expunged" by her bad-tempered ex-husband and sent into exile with her five children. Do your research in this blog and you'll know who I'm talking about.

Then there's an exquisite set of photographs of light skinned young oriental woman, whose name is a complete mystery. The Thai Crown Prince, Maha Vajiralongkornk, knows perfectly well who she is though. The word on the net is that this svelte air hostess is the Prince's latest "acquisition". I wonder if it's true.... If so, it means infidelity too, is now covered by lese majeste law.

Finally, there's Queen Sirikit fresh out of the local gym, looking ever so sad, with a tear oozing out of her bloodshot eye. Not suprising really, this royal snap was taken at the funeral of her late "bodyguard". Do your research in this blog, and you'll discover the name of the deceased. A right little tiger, until the jackass who pays for everything put a stop to that nonsense!

Like I was saying, the Thai royal family could never hope to be a moral example to anyone, so instead they hide behind lese majeste law and demand respect from Thais and farangs alike by imprisoning anyone who threatens to expose their disgusting behaviour. Will the shame ever end?

Da Torpedo and "The One"

"Guilty". That's the verdict. But "guilty" of what? Does anyone actually know what Da Torpedo said in her rally speech? Thai people know, of course. They know the verdict is wrong because she spoke the truth. But for the rest of us who don't speak Thai, it's all a big mystery.

But not any more! Here is the video we have all been waiting for. It turned up in Youtube srirasmiubitch, and reveals a small part of what Da Torpedo said about the king. There can be no doubt now, that the verdict of 18 years prison, is politically motivated.

But the video doesn't reveal everything Da Torpedo said about the king. She said more. Much more. Here's a summary of her speech:

Da Torpedo also said that Thailand would not have had an 8th Rama (Ananda Mahidol) without help from Pridi Banomyong (if you're not sure who this man is look here) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pridi_Banomyong The monarchy in Thailand had almost disappeared. But Pridi brought the name of Ananda Mahidol into voting in parliament, without this vote it is almost sure there wouldn't have been a Rama 8 (Ananda Mahidol) or Rama 9 (Bhumibol Adulyadej). It is because of Pridi, that the monarchy continues to exist in Thailand to this day.

In her speech, Da Torpedo claimed Prime minister Pridi was generous to the Monarchy. He helped the Chakri dynasty to be alive again, but Pridi himself was betrayed by "the One" (Bhumibol Adulyadej). The one who killed Rama 8.

At this point in her speech, there were cheers from the crowd as Da Torpedo claimed Pridi had been falsely accused of murdering Ananda Mahidol. It was "the One" (Bhumibol Adulyadej) who had set the whole thing up!

After being accused of the murder of Ananda Mahidol (Rama 8), Pridi's political reputation was in ruins, but the acusation labelled against him was completely false. Pridi was not involved in the murder of Rama 8. It now seemed the Monarchy Pridi had helped to bring back, had turned against him.

As a result of this event, Pridi now faced many political problems, until he was forced to leave Thailand. There were other reasons why Pridi had to abandon his homeland, not just the false acusations surrounding the death of Ananda Mahidol. Plaek Pibulsonggram, was now in charge of Thailand (look here for information) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phibun

Pridi was ousted in a military coup. Plaek Pibulsonggram then took control of Thailand, forcing Pridi to live in France for the rest of his life. Pridi never returned home to Thailand. When he died, his body was brought back to thailand. Bhumibol's mother went to Pridi's funeral, because according to Da Torpedo, she knew very well that her son (Bhumibol Adulyadej) was now king thanks to Pridi. Bhumibol's mother went to the funeral out of gratitude.

Da Torpedo then spoke about how Marshall Plaek and Bhumibol Adulyadej didn't get on. Marshall Plaek made an attempt to expose Bhumibol for the murder of his brother, but he did not succeed. Then Da Torpedo questioned Bhumibol's motives for not attending Pridi's funeral. This is considered an insult in Thailand. So why the king's absense?

"Da" then spoke at length about the murder of Ananda Mahidol. She claimed that all of evidence had been tampered or simply disposed of. This was the reason why "The One" (Bhumibol Adulyadej) had never been caught. The crowd found this part of the speech extremely entertaining, as Da Torpedo examined the evidence in an effort to find the truth.

The rally speech continues, until "Da" mentions Thailand's former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra. Da Torpedo praised Thaksin, saying that he really cared for Thai people, just like Pridi had all those years earlier. The crowd listened attentively, as "Da" continued to talk favourably about both these men.

At this point of her speech, Da Torpedo declares to the crowd that: "If you don't know who the real enemy of democracy is, then you will have 100 battles, and lose 100 battles, for sure". This is the main point "Da" wanted to make. She wanted people to think about the real cause of Thailand's military coups. Who is signing the approval for these coups? It is "the one"! She declared, though without mentioning his name. Even so, those present at the rally, knew she was refering to Bhumibol Adulyadej.

Da Torpedo then changes to a different topic, and begins to talk about Apirak Kosayodhin (look here) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apirak_Kosayodhin She claimed Apirak had advanced so far in his career simply because he had sent his son to sleep with General Prem Tinsulanonda. General Prem, said "Da", is gay and he loves young boys.

The present conflict in Thailand then becomes the focus of her speech. According to "Da", the real conflict in Thailand is between the Monarchy and the new capitalist system under Thaksin. Da asked Thai people to "wake up" and to open their eyes and see the hidden agenda of those who want to destroy democracy. "Da" told the crowd to prepare to fight for their rights, like "western countries", which had already "knocked down" their monarchies. In this way, Da Torpedo concluded, democracy may finally recover.

"Da" then gives "The One" (Bhumibol Adulyadej) two choices: Either "The One" adapts and learns to rule like monarchs do in Japan and England, or "The One" will be punished, like the Monarchs of France and Nepal were. "The One" would have to choose very carefully. Da Torpedo never utters Bhumibol's name, but it is clear to everyone present at the rally, who she is referring to.

Da Torpedo's frustration during this part of the speech is evident to see for those at the rally. "Da" wants Thai people to "wake up" and to see the "real enemy", but she dare not speak his name. It is quite uncomfortable to listen to. "Da" uses some very rude language to refer to "The One" because it seems, she can't take it anymore.

"The One" says "Da" is now very old. He should be ashamed for what he has done to Thai people for such a long time. Da Torpedo then concludes her speech. She blesses the crowd, so that peace may return to their hearts.

On July 22nd, 2008, Da Torpedo was arrested and charged with Lese Majeste (insulting the monarch). She presented herself at Police Station so that Thai police would not have to arrest her at her house. "Da" has spent one year in prison, and now faces the posibility of spending a further 18 years behind bars.

Lese majeste law is an unjust law. And it seems "Da" may want to sacrifice herself in an effort to wake Thai people up. This she aims to achieve, by challenging "The One" with nothing but the spoken word and by being sent to prison. If, as supporters of the Thai king claim, "The One" really has any compassion he should not remain silent.

Lese Majeste law is an insanity. It has turned Thai people into mere slaves. Slaves who cannot critisise their master. That's what "The One" wanted all along.
